The Soundweb Contrio EC-4B is an advanced Ethernet wall controller designed for seamless integration with Harman HiQnet systems. It facilitates control and monitoring of BSS Audio Soundweb London and other HiQnet-compatible devices, including the Crown DCi series amplifiers. Available in sleek black or white finishes, the EC-4B fits standard single-gang US Decora wall plates, ensuring a clean and professional installation.

Equipped with a single Ethernet port, the EC-4B offers easy configuration, control, and power through PoE (Power over Ethernet). Set up is straightforward using the intuitive drag-and-drop interface in the HiQnet Audio Architect software.

The controller features four programmable buttons and a 64×128 pixel LCD screen, both of which are multi-color backlit with eight color options and adjustable intensity. The buttons can handle various functions such as binary parameter control (e.g., mute), preset recalls, or source selections. The LCD screen is customizable to display pertinent text information, enhancing user interaction.

A specialized sleep function automatically turns off the LED indicators after a period of inactivity, minimizing distractions in low-light environments. The device will ‘wake up’ upon any user interaction. For added security, the EC-4B supports remote locking and unlocking through control systems and can be locally unlocked using a four-digit PIN entered via the buttons.
