The Eris E5 Two-Way Active 5.25″ Studio Monitor from PreSonus offers precise audio fidelity with its combination of Kevlar low-frequency drivers, silk-dome tweeters, and Class AB amplification. Its front-ported enclosure, made of vinyl-laminated MDF, ensures sound clarity, whether you’re mixing tracks in the studio or simply enjoying your favorite music.

Equipped with a 5.25″ Kevlar driver and a 1″ silk-dome tweeter, both powered by separate Class AB amplifiers, the Eris E5 delivers a clean 102 dB peak SPL. It has an expansive frequency response from 64Hz to 22kHz, making it adept at handling various audio tasks with accuracy.

The monitor includes versatile connectivity options, such as balanced XLR, balanced 1/4″ TRS, and unbalanced RCA inputs, making it compatible with a wide range of audio equipment. With intuitive Input Gain settings, you can quickly set up and start using the monitor.

Acoustic Tuning Controls

This monitor features three EQ controls: High, Mid, and Low Cutoff, to help you adapt the sound to your environment. The High control adjusts frequencies above 4.5kHz, while the Mid control targets frequencies around 1kHz. The Low Cutoff control effectively integrates with subwoofers by rolling off frequencies below 80 or 100Hz.

Acoustic Space Control

The Acoustic Space switch compensates for boundary bass boosts with a low shelving filter, adjustable for different room placements, thereby ensuring the E5 performs optimally whether placed near walls or corners.

Protection Features

Comprehensive protection circuitry in the Eris E5 includes RF shielding, overheat protection, current-output limiting, and subsonic protection, designed to safeguard and maintain audio integrity.
