The ISA One from Focusrite is a renowned single-channel, transformer-based microphone preamp derived from the classic ISA 110 preamp found in the iconic Forte console. Featuring vintage topology, it integrates the Lundahl L1538 transformer and a custom Zobel network, ensuring exceptional sound quality and versatility for recording engineers and musicians alike.

Equipped with switchable input impedance settings, the ISA One allows you to fine-tune microphone performance to your preference. It also features an independent DI channel with dedicated gain control, an impedance switch, and independent XLR output, making it perfect for instrument recording.

The preamp includes a line input on both XLR and 1/4″ TRS connectors, as well as a dedicated insert point for incorporating additional signal processing components. An optional analog-to-digital converter can be added to ensure pristine digital conversion.

For enhanced monitoring, the ISA One provides independent input metering via a VU meter with variable calibration, as well as six-LED peak meters. The included Brainworx bx_console Focusrite SC plug-in brings the legendary sound of the Focusrite Studio Console to your DAW, offering rich and vibrant digital emulations.
