Yamaha AG06 6-Channel USB Audio Interface Mixer

The Yamaha AG06 is a multifaceted 6-input mixer and USB interface designed for intimate performances, podcasts, lectures, and other similar scenarios. It provides high-resolution 24-bit/192 kHz sound recording and playback capabilities. This mixer is outfitted with dual XLR/1/4″ combo mic/line inputs, an array of stereo 1/4″ and RCA line inputs with level controls, and a Hi-Z switch catering to direct guitar and bass recordings. It is compatible with Windows, Mac, and iPad platforms.

One of the XLR/1/4″ combo mic/line inputs features the D-PRE mic preamp, borrowed from Yamaha’s premium recording equipment. This channel includes switchable 48V phantom power suitable for both dynamic and condenser microphones and a pad switch for recording louder sound sources such as amplified guitars.

The AG06 offers dual stereo 1/4″ outputs for connections to PA systems or monitor speakers. Additionally, it includes a 1/4″ headphone output with level control for personal monitoring and a 1/8″ aux input for monitoring portable devices and headsets.

On-Board DSP

The on-board 1-TOUCH DSP introduces settings for COMP/EQ and EFFECT into the signal path. Enhanced control over these settings can be achieved via the AG DSP Controller software, available across multiple platforms, enabling users to tweak compressor, EQ, high-pass filter, reverb, and amp simulator settings.

Perform and Broadcast Over Backing Tracks

The LOOPBACK function facilitates live broadcasting of content along with backing tracks or additional audio from connected devices like PCs, Macs, or iPads.
